
Andy Tremaglio
Coach Tremaglio was a three sport varsity athlete at Fairfield High School, where he played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. Tremaglio began playing lacrosse his freshman year after one of the varsity players gave him a long stick and suggested he play defense. Tremaglio took that advice and four years later was elected captain, earned All-State honors, and helped lead the Mustangs to a state championship in 1998.
Tremaglio continued playing lacrosse at the collegiate level where he attended the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.UMW is one of the top division three programs in the country out of the Capital Athletic Conference competing annually against St. Mary’s and DIII powerhouse Salisbury State. In his senior year, Tremaglio was elected captain, earned First Team All- Conference honors, and helped lead the team to a Conference championship.
Tremaglio currently resides in Fairfield, CT and is Director of Lacrosse for the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Southport, CT.
Tim Oelgoetz
Coach Oelgoetz has been involved in coaching at the youth and high school level for over a decade. Coach Oelgoetz began his coaching career in 1997 at New Canaan High School as the Freshman coach. From there he moved on as an assistant at Brien McMahon where he helped lead the team to a DII State Championship in 2000. After Brien McMahon, Oelgoetz moved on to become the Head Coach of New Milford High School from 2001-2007. Under his direction the New Milford program competed in S.W.C.I.A.C. tournament play in all but one season. Oelgoetz received the CIAC Division II Coach of the Year award in 2004 and the Danbury News Times All-Area Coach of the Year in 2007.
In addition to his head coaching duties, Oelgoetz has helped direct several camps and programs. Since 2001 he has been the Defensive Director of The Lacrosse Academy at Denison University and the Virginia Military Institute. In 2006 & 2007 he served as the Director of the World Class Lacrosse Camp at Wesleyan University. Oelgoetz also directed lacrosse operations at the Connecticut Sports Complex in New Milford from 2002-2006.
Oelgoetz currently resides in New Milford and coaches with New Milford Youth Lacrosse.
Fred Lee
Fred Lee graduated Towson in May 2008 with a B.S.C. in Mass Communication. As a four year starter and senior captain, Fred helped lead Towson to a C.A.A Conference title and two NCAA tournament appearances. In addition, Fred played for and captained Team England during the U-19 World Championships. Later on Lee was selected to participate in the 2006 World Championships as a member of the England World National Team.
Prior to Towson, Lee attended Fairfield Prep where he played 3 years of varsity lacrosse. During his sophomore year Fred received 2nd team All-SCC conference honors while leading the team to its first Connecticut State Championship appearance. Fred went on to receive First Team All-SCC accolades his junior and senior seasons. Fred was also elected as captain and voted team MVP in his senior season.
Fred has been actively involved with youth lacrosse over the past several years and is currently the Head Freshman Coach at Joel Barlow High School. He is also an assistant to the varsity program.
Brent Adams
Coach Adams is one of the most highly decorated athletes in Norwalk High School history. As a four year starter and two-time captain of the lacrosse team, he recorded 173 points. He received All-FCIAC and All-State honors in sophomore, junior, and senior year. Adams also captained the football team and received All-FCIAC and All-State honors as a wide receiver and kick returner. Adams has spent the past several summers helping coach lacrosse and mentor at the youth level.
Adams is currently a freshman at Fairfield University and will play a pivotal role in the Stags 2009 season.
Rich Allaire
Rich is currently Head Assistant Coach at Trumbull High School and has been coaching boy’s lacrosse in Connecticut for over thirty years. His coaching career began as a JV coach at Norwalk high School, for eight years. He then became head coach of Newtown High School for two years, and Fairfield High School for twelve years. Allaire has coached 5 state champion teams and has accumulated over 280 wins. Allaire was also CIAC coach of the year in 1998. Allaire teaches mathematics at Norwalk High School and lives in Trumbull with his wife, Patti, and children, RJ, Nicole, and Brian.
