Jason is co-founder of Paragon Lacrosse and currently the Head Coach at Joel Barlow High School in Connecticut. Lacrosse runs in the family as Jason’s father, Greg Saunders, founded the lacrosse program at Brien McMahon where he was Head Coach from 1978-1994. For the last ten years Jason has been involved with lacrosse camps and programs throughout the Northeast. As a certified personal trainer Saunders has also been active in several exercise science related programs. Prior to becoming the Head Coach at Joel Barlow, he served as an assistant with the Staples High School lacrosse team in Westport, Connecticut.


Saunders is a 2005 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and a minor in Sports Management. Saunders was a three year Letter Winner on the nationally ranked Division III Men’s Lacrosse Team. During his time at Eastern Connecticut, his team won three consecutive Little East conference titles and participated in the 2003 and 2004 DIII NCAA Tournaments. Saunders played under Eastern Hall of Famer Rick McCarthy, a current Assistant Coach at Wesleyan University.


Saunders currently resides in Redding, CT.
